New Year’s Remarks 2026
05 Jan 2026
Ko Nagata, Principal of Global Sky Group, delivered a New Year remarks outlining the Group’s direction for the next five years.
As Global Sky looks toward 2026, the Group reviewed its mid-term management plan for 2021–2025 and clarified its strategic direction for the coming five years. The global economy has undergone significant change due to the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, and the rapid advancement of AI, while investment, trade, and exchange between Japan and Australia have continued to deepen. During this period, Global Sky expanded its experiential services centered on early learning, while also facing structural challenges associated with labour-intensive operations and increasing capital investment requirements.
Looking ahead, the value the Group aims to further strengthen is connecting the world through educational and cultural experiences, embodied in Only at Global Sky—play-based learning experiences that can only be found here. Under the key theme of “Reshape,” the next mid-term management plan will focus on growth by increasing the number of families served, rather than expanding the number of facilities. The Group will enhance unique educational and cultural experiences, improve customer satisfaction and average spend, and achieve high productivity through the use of AI and other technologies. The three pillars of this strategy are: (1) enhancing people and talent value through professional development, (2) extending experiential value beyond physical facilities, and (3) strengthening corporate value through financial discipline and profitability.
By 2030, Global Sky aims to evolve into an organisation that connects families with outstanding learning environments around the world, starting from Japan and Australia, under its own quality standards. By building a sustainable revenue base that is not dependent on physical facilities, the Group seeks to expand human potential, nurture the next generation, and contribute to the realisation of a sustainable society through education and cultural experiences.
